About This Design

Electrocom is one of South Africa's most dependable energy providers. Reliability is a characteristic you want in your energy supplier, and given the current climate in South Africa, reliability was the main focus and inspiration for my design. The logo, an abstract "E" representing Electrom, takes the shape of a triangle. In shape psychology, triangles symbolise stability, reliability, upward momentum, and invigorating energy—a perfect reflection of the qualities synonymous with Electrocom. As an energy provider, they offer stability, reliability, and constant growth, injecting a renewed vitality into South Africa's energy sector.

The selected typeface, a contemporary sans serif with triangular corners, reinforces the triangular theme, reinforcing the brand's image as stable, reliable, and forward-thinking.

Orange serves as the primary brand colour, chosen for its energetic properties. This colour not only communicates enthusiasm but also exudes confidence, optimism, and warmth, aligning seamlessly with Electrocom's identity.

To further enhance the brand's technological image, a dynamic gradient was integrated into the design. This gradient not only adds a modern aesthetic but also signifies Electrocom's tech-savvy approach. It emphasises their commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, ensuring they consistently deliver top-notch services to their customers.
