About This Design

For this month’s submission I drew inspiration from various aspects of Japanese culture. The promise of Omnipotent G reminded me of the infamous Yakuza. Originally formed as a network of gamblers and street merchants, the Yakuza evolved into a powerful organized crime syndicate known for its strict code of conduct, intricate hierarchy, and involvement in various activities. I also wanted to incorporate elements from the traditional Kabuki masks with their bold expressions, while adding a modern twist of vibrant neon hues - to evoke a sense of mystery, power and modernity in my designs. The juxtaposition of these traditional and contemporary elements can result in a unique and captivating design that pays homage to Japanese culture while adding a dynamic and edgy twist.
