About This Design

I wanted to create an identity that was clean and modern and could be used for versatile designs. I designed a logo that makes clever use out of negative space symbolising the "gap" electrocom will fill with their services. This concept was pulled through with the outline use of text in branding of the shirt, posters and vehicle. The use of the colour green was also an important aspect as the world is shifting to more "green" eco friendly electricity solutions. Additionally, there is an evolutionary component to how we perceive green. Since the beginning of time, it has always been associated with places where humans and animals could find food, shelter, and water. This makes items and places in green appear safe, comfortable, and inviting - immediately (and subconsciously) building a trust relationship with our audience.
